Another year of solid music and dancing around the streets of Capitol Hill! Last weekend, my boyfriend and I ventured to Saturday of Capitol Hill Block Party which is centered on Pike St. between Broadway & 12th. I use to live right by CHBP where you could run between seeing artists you loved and having a lawn party with friends a few blocks away. Unfortunately those days are over, but I still love attending for the music and ambiance that fills my favorite Seattle neighborhood.

Capitol Hill Block Party, lovingly known to locals as CHBP, is one of my favorite weekends of the summer! It's three days when Capitol Hill streets fill up with music, dancing, and the trendiest Seattle outfits!

Part afternoon floating on Lake Sammamish and part sit-down semi-formal dinner featuring rosé, clams, beautiful salads, and a gorgeous Hamptons-inspired tablescape.

Spending a night filled with dancing, laughter, and love is all I could ask for! I love attending wedding, but getting ready and finding a cute outfit that I'll realistically only wear once is daunting - I don't want to break the bank but also want to look cute!

Last week I was invited to the stunning Penelope and the Beauty Bar in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel to get a Perfect Facial! I've only had one facial before a few years ago, so at a very high level knew what to expect, but was still thoroughly blown away.

As a side trip during our two weeks in London (read my London blog post one and two here), my boyfriend Brian and I went to Marrakech, Morocco for three nights! I've never been to Africa before, and with only being a 3.5 hour flight, Marrakech seemed like the perfect excursion for some beauty, adventure and fun!

My ideal girls party happened! Thirteen of my closest friends and I went to SoulCycle South Lake Union (SLUN) on Sunday to get our sweat on! I've loved going to SoulCycle in Bellevue since it opened early last year, and was thrilled they opened a second location in South Lake Union a few months ago. I live in Seattle, so this easier commute makes it that much simpler to get to class.

Not even a week after Coachella, my boyfriend Brian and I hopped on a flight to London. Despite the airline moving up the flight by SIX hours so that we had to take a last minute half day and scramble to pack, we were excited to go back to Europe!

There's something about the desert. I grew up going to Eastern Washington every summer where my affinity for the desert started. The warmth of the sun hitting you, the beautiful desert foliage that looks like you're on Mars, and the peacefulness of being able to see far into the distance. This is why I love traveling to the Southwest, so when I found out we'd be visiting  Joshua Tree National Park during a weekend trip to Palm Springs (read all about the trip here!), I couldn't wait!

Conforming isn't any fun! Spice up your winter wardrobe by leveraging your winter whites that have probably been pushed to the back of your closet until Summer. I recently found some white Topshop culottes (similar ones from H&M here) which inspired me to pull together an all-white look that's chic but also unexpected this season.
