The Best (Free!) At Home Workouts on YouTube

What weird times we’re in! COVID-19 social distancing precautions are in full effect here in Seattle, so I’ve been working from home for about 10 days now. It’s important to still get up and moving to stay active but to also get a mental break. I love taking workout classes since I’m very unmotivated at going to a gym by myself. Workout classes are amazing but can be expensive, and nothing quite beats the convenience (and price!) of working out at home!

I’ve compiled my favorite YouTube channels for free, at-home workouts! Many don’t require any weights or equipment, so check these out the next time you want to sweat! Also, I just started my own YouTube channel here, so make sure to subscribe!

POPSUGAR Fitness

Barre, Pilates, HIIT, Cardio, Kickboxing, and more!

One of my go-to YouTube Channels for at home workouts! Popsugar has a huge variety in their videos, ranging from 5 - 60 minutes, weights, no weights, you name it! No matter what you’re in the mood for, they surely have a video for you.

Romee Strijd

Strength Training, Pilates

As you might expect from a model, Romee takes her workouts seriously! She’s one of my favorite YouTube channels to watch, and also shares her workouts with us - essentially a free Dogpound training session. Her workout videos range from 15 - 25 minutes but are very challenging.

Keep it Cleaner

Strength Training, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates

Keep it Cleaner also has a lot of variety in their videos. Their HIIT workouts are no joke and great for getting your heart rate going in your living room. They have quick 5 minute toning videos, as well as longer ones.

Adidas Women

HIIT, Pilates, Strength Training

Another great YouTube channel for quick videos, Adidas Women has 5-25 minute videos that are mainly strength training focused. I love going to this channel if I want an ab toning video or other quick targeted video.

Barre3

Barre

I love going to Barre3 classes in person, so this is a fun (and free!) way to get the workout! They have 30 minute classes that mix barre, stretching and aren’t as high intensity as other workouts. These are some of my favorites to do early in the day to get me moving!
