Having spent time in high school living in Burgundy, I absolutely fell in love with Napa as it reminded me so much of my time in France. It’s beautiful, romantic and each winery has a different look and feel.

A work off-site took me to Santa Cruz for two nights which was a quick but great overview of the California town! We strolled the colorful boardwalk, had a sunset beach bonfire at Twin Lakes State Park and spent a lot of time at the resort team building.

There’s no better way to escape the Seattle winter than a trip South! My cousin Devin and I went to LA for a long weekend and spent three days eating, sightseeing and laughing.

You know how much I love Southern California! Any excuse I get to head South to get some sun, put my toes in the ocean, and soak up the green-juice loving community, I’ll take! In today’s post I’m sharing travel photos from a recent trip to Laguna Beach to visit friends! The weekend was full of laughs, trolly rides and being a little stressed out from how many times the life guards were rescuing swimmers.

There's something about the desert. I grew up going to Eastern Washington every summer where my affinity for the desert started. The warmth of the sun hitting you, the beautiful desert foliage that looks like you're on Mars, and the peacefulness of being able to see far into the distance. This is why I love traveling to the Southwest, so when I found out we'd be visiting  Joshua Tree National Park during a weekend trip to Palm Springs (read all about the trip here!), I couldn't wait!
