Asking My Bridesmaids!

Since Brian and I got engaged in September, we’ve taken wedding planning very slowly. It feels both daunting and exciting at the same time. One part of planning that I was so excited about was asking my bridal party!

I wanted to bring everyone together to ask, so reserved the private room at General Porpoise in Pioneer Square and invited everyone for donuts and coffee one Saturday morning!

For used the beautiful Vanilla Bean gift boxes from Paper Source to house some favorites to share with my maids! I included La Marca Prosecco, a small Diptyque candle, Sugarfina caramels, a confetti popper and Aqua face masks. As I’m sure you can tell from my Instagram, I love a blue theme, so picked goodies to match!

My favorite part was creating custom cards from Artifact Uprising with a memorable, funny photo of my bridesmaid and I. In addition to just ‘gifts’ this personal gesture was away for me to personalize why each maid is so special to me, and how excited I am to have them by my side on my big day!

In addition to my bridesmaids, my bridal party wouldn’t be complete without my brides-man! To make my cousin’s gift box more masculine, I swapped Prosecco for whiskey, candles for playing cards and a bandana, and caramels for bourbon bears.

It was so fun to surprise everyone! Here were some fun reactions from Instagram:
